FALL ing into Fall

The weather here has been beautiful. Just Monday I woke up and was thrilled to find the weather down in the 70's. I eagerly got the girls out of bed and got them dressed in their "fall" finest! We having been collecting our fall/winter clothes now for about 7 weeks and it was so exciting to wear them. Hannah however assumed that the word FALL meant FALL APART. She had a tough time getting into the car for school.

Here is Hannah on her way to school

Abi at the breakfast table on our "first" Fall weather day

Abi did fine ofcourse donning her new Gap paigeboy hat and Orange "Lots of Dots" Gymboree Sweater. School is just a place to push the uniform policy to the max. She wears almost an entire second outfit on top of her uniform.

Fall weather is so fabulous. This morning Houston mowed the yard and we planned to have a weekend cookout. I actually want to make the first gumbo of the season. Chicken, Sausage, boiled egg. We are going to get outside and enjoy this weather! That is something we know for sure!

I love this picture. There is nothing more beautiful than my husband taking our children to church. It just captures the unity God gives family.

Beginning to Blog

I am really looking forward to entering the fabulous world of blogging. This would be a great break from my shopping! I have been so inspired by the NieNie Dialouges that I want to record my experiences for myself and my family. Plus I think being accountable to something would be a very good thing.
